Kathleen Fitzpatrick is a prominent communications professor at Washington D.C.’s American University and holds affiliate facility positions with the University’s School of International Service and History departments.
Fitzpatrick is renown for authoring several noteworthy works such as Reclaiming Fair Use: How to Put Balance Back in Copyright with co-author Peter Jaszi; Communications Policy in the Public Interest; Documentary Film: A Very Short Introduction; and The Daily Planet.
