Tasha Ryan is an Assistant Professor of Interpersonal and Family Communication at the University of Missouri’s Department of Communication. She is also the founder and co-director of the Institute of Family Diversity and Communication and works on the editorial board of Journal of Family Communication and Western Journal of Communication.

Ryan continues to earn professional recognition by receiving awards from the Research Council, Arts and Science Alumni Organization Faculty Incentive Grant, the Richard Wallace Alumni Fund, the National Communication Association, and the Central States Communication Association.
